Written by bassist John Deacon, it was released as the A side of the single Spread Your Wings/Sheer Heart Attack in 1978. It features Deacon on guitar and bass, Freddie Mercury on piano and vocals, Brian May on guitar and Roger Taylor on drums. A live version of the song appears in the band's 1979 album Live Killers. The song peaked at number 34 in the UK. The song is in 4/4 meter, and starts with a simple piano motif in D. It is written in D Major, then modulating up to D's relative minor, B minor in the bridge, coming down to D in the chorus. First single to be taken from The Dead Trees' new and sophomore album WHATWAVE out now on Affairs Of The Heart in Europe. This video was made by the fine folks at The Indie Workforce. Directed by Tory Dahlhoff. DEAD TREES are a bunch of nomadic dudes. To be more precise, they are Michael Ian Cummings (vox, guitar), Todd Dalhoff (bass, vox), Matthew Borg (guitar, vox) and Noah Rubin (drums, vox). They formed the band in Boston, in January 2007, released their debut Fort Music EP shortly thereafter, then packed up and moved all the way west to Portland, Oregon. Somewhere along the way, Fort Music fell into the hands of STROKES guitarist Albert Hammond Jr, who took the DEAD TREES on two US tours supporting his solo effort. The dudes lived in Portland for two years, worked odd jobs, and wrote and recorded their first full-length album, King of Rosa. After releasing the album on Milan Records in late 2008, they spent most of the next year on the road with bands such as THE WHIGS,! Adam Green and MGMT, as well as touring Europe, Brazil and the US as LITTLE JOY's backing band. At the end of 2009, the dudes moved again -- this time to Los Angeles, where they link up with producer Noah Georgeson (Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, LITTLE JOY, Adam Green) for their best recording to date: a buoyant, scrappy and tuneful collection of songs whose positive vibes were definitely influenced by the DEAD TREES' new home. Fall of 1985 I first heard this song in my college cafeteria on the TV during BET'S Video Soul and fell in love with the arrangement beautifully written by Monte Moir of "The Time and gorgeously produced and arranged by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis this song set up fantasies of feeling that type of longing for love. Over 2 and half years later I was sitting in the pier with my first serious girlfriend and this song came over the loudspeaker during our first date and like a movie this song came on, we starting kissing the late summer/early fall moonlight sky and also "Under the Milky Way" by the Church played right after Alexander's song. We lost track of time that night kissing, talking and enjoying each others company and we didn't get home until 4 o'clock in the morning. A great night and a great song.

It was released on 26 February 1981.In 1980 Judas Priest garnered some airplay with "Breaking the Law" and "Living After Midnight" from their album British Steel. As a result the band pursued a more radio friendly direction on Point of Entry.Three singles were released from the album: "Heading Out to the Highway", "Don't Go" and "Hot Rockin' ", all of which had accompanying music videos. The song "Heading Out to the Highway" has been a staple in live shows since its release, and "Hot Rockin' " is still performed today. On the 2005 "Re-united" tour they also played "Solar Angels"; on rare occasions: on the World Wide Blitz Tour of 1981 !
